Digital composites explained
Digital composites - secret to magical and safe newborn portraits
Have you ever wondered how newborn photographers achieve those amazing images of babies sleeping on floral swings or hammocks hanged high on thin tree branches? Have you ever wonder is it safe? Rest assured - thanks to the magic of Photoshop and digital composites, a skilled and experienced photographer can safely create dreamy and elaborate newborn portraits.
So what is a digital composite? It is an image that has been skilfully assembled from two or more images that were blended together to achieve a creative final result, while keeping baby comfortable and secure.
Digital compositing also allows for endless creative possibilities and adds variety to galleries. Many newborn photographers have a large collection of props and accessories, but there’s always a limit of what you can afford and fit in within your studio/storage space. With digital composites sky is the limit! One of my recent clients requested a motor sport related set up for his son and thanks to the digital manipulation I was able to accommodate that request.
If you found any particular set up on my website that you would like to recreate during your shoot, or would like to see my collection of digital backgrounds, please simply get in touch via the form below.
